Online Tournament Check In – STEP 1

SETUP TOURNAMENT ROSTER IN Sports Connect and submit a copy via the online form.

Tournament check in will be done online, your first step is to verify that your tournament roster in affinity is properly setup and contains all required information. The tournament administrators will review and verify rosters for accuracy and compliance with the tournament rules. Make sure your roster online is setup correctly. Instructions are below.

• IMPORTANT – your roster must be created and submitted by roster freeze at 11:59 pm MST August 2nd, 2023. Tournament Roster Instructions are below.

1. Create a Tournament Photo Roster in PDF format. See instructions below if you have questions

2. Email your Tournament Photo Roster and guest player forms here.

Instructions for Player Roster for Check-in

Only a coach or admin who is rostered to the team can create a tournament roster.

1. Go to www.utahyouthsoccer.net. Login in under member login which is located on the top right hand of the front page. You will now be on the “My Account” page.
2. Click the “Teams” tab under your family information
3. Click on the “Apply to Tournament” link
4. At the top of the page select the “Tournament Roster” tab
5. Fill in the information for the tournament
   1. Tournament Name: Strikers Cup 2023
   2. Soccer Federation: UYSA
   3. Event Start and End Date: 8/8/2023, 8/12/2023
   4. Country, City, State, Postal Code: USA (default), Layton, Utah (default), 84041
   5. Director First, Last Name: Jaydee Spendlove
   6. Director Phone: 336-307-9408
   7. Director Email: strikerscup@laytonstrikers.com
   8. Click Save & Continue Button
6. You will now be on the “Roster” tab
   To Deactivate a Player that will not be attending Strikers Cup with your team
   a. To the right of the Player’s Name click the red X to remove the player from the roster
   b. Be sure to enter all player numbers on this page and verify coach information
   To Add a guest player select the Add Player button, then enter the player’s information including the player ID and add them to the roster.
   To add a club pass player click the Add Club Pass Player button then lookup the player and add them to the tournament roster.
7. Verify all jersey numbers for ALL of the players on the roster
   a. Click on the “Save & Continue” in the bottom right hand corner of the page.
8. You are now on the “Additional Info” tab. Enter any specific requests or information you would like the tournament director to be aware of. Then click “Save & Continue” If no changes you may have to manually select the “Review & Submit” tab

   Are all the players traveling with your team on the roster?
   Do all the players have pictures uploaded and are they the correct size?
   Have all the jersey numbers for the players on your roster been entered?
   No changes will be allowed to roster after the roster freeze deadline
10. Select Submit then you may have to select the “Review” tab again to find the “Print Photo Roster” Button – THIS IS THE ROSTER TO USE IN THE NEXT STEP. Save a .pdf of this and go to step 11
11. Email the Tournament roster with pictures to the respective boys or girls roster email. We will verify the roster and email you a copy back with the Strikers digital tournament stamp. Please print this and bring a copy to each game. Roster Upload Page

Your roster pictures will be small thumbnails next to the name of the player. Make sure the picture appears here as the Digital Player Cards will not show a picture if it is not shown here and the player will not be allowed to play without a picture. Example of Photo Roster
